RANDOM NOTE:
BUMPER STUMPERS WAS FAMOUS FOR MENTIONING THE AUDIENCE, WHEN IN FACT NONE OF THE SHOWS EVEN HAD ONE!

This successful USA Network original was a very original concept, that was based on the fad of personalized car license plates, and how silly and weird they could eventually become. Add a fresh, new Canadian host, and you have an interesting game that is pure stiff concentration.

In the summer of 2000, Game Show Network treated us to this great game show, while revamping its original "Inquizition" show. While it would have been nice to keep this show on the schedule, it was a treat that was very much appreachiated by its fans, like myself, since it had never been aired in reruns to date. In fact, Bumper Stumpers was actually played in the middle of USA Network's game show rerun block, making it a neat addition.

In a sence, and very loosely, Bumper Stumpers could have been inspired as a revival of the sixties game show "PDQ", in which you had to read a word or words by using as few letters as possible. However, making them in a license plate format and having some additional fun with it, made this show a larger success and more remembered than the original PDQ.

With this being the newest game show featured on SuperShow 8000, I could very much use some input and ideas for the section. If you have any suggestions, please email me at xanfan(@)comcast(.)net & let me know!

While you are here, be sure to check out the archives of the different and humourous plates that were used in the show, the rules of this neat game show, and how each of the three different bonus rounds were actually played. (They kept changing it for some odd reason that I don't know. :)
