In the event of a tie game, a tie-breaker word is played. This is done with the teams taking turns guessing the word until its hit. The losing team keeps the money they accumulated in the main game as well as a consolation gift of a dictionary. (I must admit, that is kinda funny. So you can all look up all of the words that you missed on the show, and then spend time kicking yourself. :-) The bonus game was a lot like the original version of the show, where the object was not to get a Lingo on the card, which already had 12 numbers covered up. Every incorrect guess of the word means the team has to draw 1 time. If they don't get the word, they must draw 6 times. The team starts with $50 and build it by playing sprints valued at $100 each with no penalty for not guessing the word. These are played until time runs out on the program. If they win the first sprint, they win $100 and the chance to play double or nothing. If the team wants to come back the next day, they must complete 5 sprints for $1600. This happened often, since the only times this didn't happen was if they ran out of time before hitting the $1600 mark. In the bonus game, a gold ball will save the game instantly.
